It's a GIRL!

My sister-in-law found out yesterday that she is having a little girl.

Grace is thrilled (as Jeff and I are too) to be adding another LaRoche girl to the family!

Jeff's New Toy

A Little Absent...

from the blogging world!

Here's a recap of our lives the past couple of months:

Jeff's Birthday - January 30th (He turned 33!)
The morning of Jeff's birthday, Grace and I took him to eat breakfast at Kerby Lane. Can you believe he has never eaten there? He loved it! :o)

We went to dinner with Brad (Jeff's brother) and Tracey at ZTejas. Dinner didn't go too well. Half way into our dinner Grace became very winny and we couldn't figure it out. She ended up crying for almost 3 hours straight and ONLY wanted Mommy to hold her. Finally, she was able to tell us it was her ear. Took her to the doctor and she had a really bad ear infection. Her very first one. Needless to say we didn't get any pictures that night. :(

Then, the next weekend my mom, dad and brother took Jeff to Papasitos for dinner. It was so delicious!

Valentine's Day

Saturday the 13th, Jeff, my dad and my brother drove down to Port O'Connor to look at a boat. My mom, Grace and I spent the day shopping and visiting my grandma. That night we left Grace at my parents' to spend the night and Jeff and I had our valentine's date. Both of us were so tired from getting up so early that morning that we decided to make it low key and went to Panera Bread for dinner. Gosh, we're like an old married couple! LOL

On Valentine's Day, we went to pick Grace up and have a little Valentine's with my family before heading to church. After church, Grace took a long nap and then woke up to all her Valentine's presents. We spent the rest of the afternoon playing dressup in her new Tinkerbell costume, eating tons of candy and just relaxing. :o)
We hope you shared the day with the ones you love!

Snow Day - February 23rd

It was a Tuesday, which was perfect because I'm off and to top it off Daddy was home that week. :o)

Jeff and I woke up fairly early and the sleet was beginning to fall. While Grace slept we watched the news and the winter weather forming outside. Slowly it began to turn into snow and before we knew it there were huge snow flakes (the size of 50 cent pieces) were coming down. Grace was still sleeping and we decided to wake her up. She was so excited! We got dressed and went outside to play for just a little while because unfortunately we had to get out to take Grace to the doctor because her eye was a little pink and I was thinking it might be pink eye. And of course I was right!

It continued to snow pretty heavy all day long and that afternoon we went out to play again. This time Daddy came out with us and he helped Grace build her very first snowman and to teach her how to make snow angels and of course how to have a snowball fight! We, also, made snow ice cream. Grace wasn't too fond of it.
We had such a fun day and we ended the day with a cup of hot chocolate!

A Million Post into ONE!

I have been lagging in the blogging department for the past couple of months. So here is an attempt to catch everyone up on what has been going on in our lives lately.

We had a WONDERFUL CHRISTmas! It was such a busy time, but well worth it to spend it with family and celebrate Jesus' birthday. Santa was very good to Grace this year as usual. Even though she decided she didn't want to sit on his lap this year.

Our New Year's Eve was very, very low key. Jeff and I decided to order Chuy's To Go for all of us because we thought the restaurants would be too crazy and we didn't want to have to wait for a long time. I think everyone else had the same idea. It took them a little over an hour to get our food ready for us, but well worth the wait. I just LOVE Chuy's! :o) After dinner, we made a little bed on the floor in the living room, which Grace thought was so cool, and watched all the New Year's Eve shows on TV. Grace and I just couldn't make it 'til midnight. We fell asleep around 9:45PM. Jeff did manage to wake me up at midnight to give me a sweet kiss. We had such a GREAT time as a family that night!

We just know 2010 is going to be the BEST year yet as we are expecting to add another little member to our family in early August. We are so excited and Grace can't wait to be a big sister. :o)

We hope you all have the BEST year yet too!

Halloween 2009

I'm a little late posting our Halloween festivities, but I have been sick with H1N1 for the past 7 days and I am just now feeling better. And by the way niether Grace nor Jeff got sick. I was a clean freak!

Here are some pictures of Grace's Halloween week.

We hope you enjoy! :o)
