Fall Is In the Air

Grace's "Doodle Bug"

This morning finally feels like fall is in the air. I decided since it was so nice out that Grace and I would go to the park to play after breakfast. As soon as we turned off the sidewalk to walk down to the park she was trying to get out of her "Doodle Bug" (Grace's little rider toy). She was so excited! She went straight for the swings and wanted up in them.

Next, she wanted to go and play on this little rider toy.

She then went to climb on the playscape and the slide.

After playing for almost a whole hour, I decided it was time to go home so Grace could take her morning nap, but she had a different idea. As I proceeded to take her hand and walk back to get in her "Doodle Bug" she was finding every bench or picnic table to sit on.

After sitting on every single bench in the park, I finally picked her up and put her in her "Doodle Bug." She wasn't too happy and kept trying to stand up and get back out. So I carried her all the way home while pushing the "Doodle Bug." What a morning, but boy did we have fun! :)

Lounging in the Laundry Basket

Ever since Grace was little she has loved playing with the laundry basket. When I'm doing laundry and am finished folding all the clothes in the basket I always put Grace in the basket and pull her around the house. She cackles and laughs so hard and never wants to get out. On Saturday I was washing Jeff and my sheets while Grace was taking a morning nap. Right as the buzzer of the dryer went off, Grace woke up from her nap. Jeff went in and changed her diaper and then let her down to go play. She immediatley came looking for me in the bedroom where I was fixing to put the sheets back on the bed. Before I knew it she was trying to climb on top of all the sheets in the basket. Jeff helped her in and this is what she did...
