Here's a recap of our lives the past couple of months:
Jeff's Birthday - January 30th (He turned 33!)
The morning of Jeff's birthday, Grace and I took him to eat breakfast at Kerby Lane. Can you believe he has never eaten there? He loved it! :o)
We went to dinner with Brad (Jeff's brother) and Tracey at ZTejas. Dinner didn't go too well. Half way into our dinner Grace became very winny and we couldn't figure it out. She ended up crying for almost 3 hours straight and ONLY wanted Mommy to hold her. Finally, she was able to tell us it was her ear. Took her to the doctor and she had a really bad ear infection. Her very first one. Needless to say we didn't get any pictures that night. :(
Then, the next weekend my mom, dad and brother took Jeff to Papasitos for dinner. It was so delicious!
Valentine's Day
Saturday the 13th, Jeff, my dad and my brother drove down to Port O'Connor to look at a boat. My mom, Grace and I spent the day shopping and visiting my grandma. That night we left Grace at my parents' to spend the night and Jeff and I had our valentine's date. Both of us were so tired from getting up so early that morning that we decided to make it low key and went to Panera Bread for dinner. Gosh, we're like an old married couple! LOL
On Valentine's Day, we went to pick Grace up and have a little Valentine's with my family before heading to church. After church, Grace took a long nap and then woke up to all her Valentine's presents. We spent the rest of the afternoon playing dressup in her new Tinkerbell costume, eating tons of candy and just relaxing. :o)
We hope you shared the day with the ones you love!
Snow Day - February 23rd
It was a Tuesday, which was perfect because I'm off and to top it off Daddy was home that week. :o)
Jeff and I woke up fairly early and the sleet was beginning to fall. While Grace slept we watched the news and the winter weather forming outside. Slowly it began to turn into snow and before we knew it there were huge snow flakes (the size of 50 cent pieces) were coming down. Grace was still sleeping and we decided to wake her up. She was so excited! We got dressed and went outside to play for just a little while because unfortunately we had to get out to take Grace to the doctor because her eye was a little pink and I was thinking it might be pink eye. And of course I was right!

It continued to snow pretty heavy all day long and that afternoon we went out to play again. This time Daddy came out with us and he helped Grace build her very first snowman and to teach her how to make snow angels and of course how to have a snowball fight! We, also, made snow ice cream. Grace wasn't too fond of it.
We had such a fun day and we ended the day with a cup of hot chocolate!
